Staffileno had an impressive career at Duquesne, playing in 111 games. Scored a career-high 21 points vs. Manhattan and posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds vs. CCSU as a senior for the Dukes.
Staffileno was a member of Duquesne’s first team ever to reach the NCAA tournament. The Dukes defeated Seton Hall in the first round before facing UConn in the second round of the NCAA tournament. Staffileno also helped the Dukes reach the WNIT Sweet -Sixteen (twice) in her career.
Brooke High School
Richardson finished her four-year career at Duquesne with 627 points, 290 rebounds, and 158 assists, appearing in 121 games from 2015 -19.
As a Senior in 2018-19, Richardson averaged a career-high 7.7 points per game. She posted a career-best 22 points against East Tennessee State during her senior season.
In the classroom, Richardson earned Dean's List honors, Director of Athletics' Honor Roll, and the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School-Carlynton
Omogrosso goes down as one of the all-time greatest players in Duquesne/WPIAL history.
Omogrosso’s name is inscribed in Duquesne’s record books: 3rd All-Time leading scorer with 1,703 points, All-Time career 3-point leader with 279 made & Single Season 3-point record with 92. She helped lead Duquesne to its first-ever NCAA tournament her sophomore season and served three years as captain.
Omogrosso was selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team (2016), A-10 1st team (2018) & A-10 2nd team (2019).
High School – Blackhawk
Bowen goes down as one of the all-time greatest players in Grove City College history.
Bowen’s name is inscribed in the Grove City Record books: She was a four-year starter at Grove City College. Currently ranked 11th on the all-time scoring list with 1165 points.
Bowen was selected to the All -Presidents Athletic Conference Team multiple times and the All-Rookie team (2018), All PAC Second Team (2019), and All PAC 1st team (2020 & 2021).
Grimm was a member of Duquesne University’s practice squad from 2018-2021 and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Currently pursuing his Master’s in Accountancy and earning his CPA. He recently accepted a position at Ernst & Young.
Grimm’s ability to teach and break down the simplest of skills is second to none. Grimm has coached at numerous camps over the last eight years and has worked at shoot 360. Grimm played high school basketball at North Allegheny High School.
Pinkett, a 2022 graduate of Montour High School and current student-athletes at Chatham University, will return to his Alma Mater to help run the Iron City Basketball Clinic.
Diaun was a vital member of the Spartans basketball program. As a senior, he led the Spartans in scoring 15 points per game. Pinkett was selected First Team All-Section and WPIAL runner-up. Pinkett’s career high was 28 against Burrell H.S.
In addition to his athletic accolades, he was on the Honor Roll and received the Nucci-Finny Scholarship Award.
